Content Review Process
Every story in our archive undergoes a multi-step review process. We verify source texts against established academic editions (Grimm: Margaret Hunt translation; Andersen: standard English translations; Perrault: Andrew Lang editions). Our editorial team cross-references ATU classifications and Propp structural analyses to ensure accuracy.
Expert Advisory Board
Our content is guided by an advisory board that includes folklore scholars, comparative mythology researchers, and cultural anthropologists. Their expertise helps us maintain fidelity to original source texts while making stories accessible to modern readers.
Source Attribution
We cite primary sources wherever possible. Each story entry includes the ATU tale type index number, geographic origin, cultural tradition, and source edition. When multiple variants exist, we preserve the most authoritative version alongside notable regional variations.
